Your choice
On your first visit we ask before turning on anything that isn't strictly necessary. “Accept all” and “Reject all” are equally easy, and you can change your mind any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, optional cookies stay off. This policy is part of our Privacy policy. Last updated: 3 November 2026.
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Session (
better-auth.session_token) keeps you signed in. With “Remember me” (and always with Google sign-in) it lasts 14 days from your last visit; otherwise it ends when you close the browser. A companion cookie (better-auth.dont_remember) marks the browser-session choice. - Google sign-in: short-lived cookies (
better-auth.stateand similar, a few minutes) protect the sign-in round trip with Google. - Language (
locale, 1 year) is set when you open a page in another language, so links keep you in it. It holds only a language code such as “hi”. - Cookie choices (
dsc_consent, about 6 months) remembers what you picked in the cookie banner. We also keep a record of each choice (what you chose, when, and the policy version) to show we asked.
Functional (remember your preferences)
- Last sign-in method (
better-auth.last_used_login_method, 30 days) marks whether you last used email or Google, to highlight it on the sign-in page. - View counting (
viewed:<app>in session storage, until you close the tab) makes sure one visit counts once in an app's anonymous view count. - Theme and review drafts are kept in your browser's local storage only, never sent to us until you post.
- Remembered email: if you tick “Remember me”, your email is kept in this browser's local storage to fill in the sign-in form. Untick it or choose “Not you?” to remove it. We never store your password in the browser.
Analytics (only if you allow it)
- Google Analytics (
_gaand_ga_*, up to 2 years) tells us how many people visit and which pages and buttons they use. Google provides it as our processor. Advertising features, ad personalisation and Google signals are off; we never send your name, email or review text, and links are stripped of personal details first. Turning analytics off deletes these cookies. - Microsoft Clarity (
_clck, 1 year, and_clsk, 1 day, on our site; Microsoft may also setCLIDandMUID, 1 year, on its own domains) shows heatmaps and replays of how pages are used: clicks, scrolling and page layout. Microsoft provides it as our processor. Text on the page and anything you type are hidden in recordings, ad storage is off, and nothing is recorded on sign-in, password reset, unsubscribe, dashboard or admin pages. Turning analytics off stops recording and deletes these cookies.
What we don't use
No advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies, and no selling of data. Sponsored spots on TrueLaunch are counted anonymously, without cookies.
